I’m an artist!!!! And SELF EMPLOYED!!! I’m incredibly happy. ALMOST making enough money to make a living from my art and illustration, so hanging on a bit on this goal.

How I did it: I realized, after a lot of thinking and talking to other people, that it's not about finding a purpose, but rather finding what makes you happy. We all have our own ultimate truths that define us and that speaks to our souls. Find what makes you really happy, and you will find what your purpose is. How I did it: I realised that I have already started working in conservation. I do not need to join an organisation or search for groups. Anyone can start working in conservation NOW, as soon as you decide to do it. Lack of time is a bad excuse - it translates to lack of commitment or desire. My art’s in 3 galleries, and Saturday is the opening of a group exhibition featuring some of my digital art. Also busy planning an exhibition in my hometown with 3 other artist friends… Woohooooo, watch this space! And follow your heart. If you do what you love, everything else will follow!!

I wore a hat 24/7 at Oppikoppi Wildcard Festival in Northam, ZA. during the weekend of 25 September. But that’s easy and essential… So it doesn’t count.
