I have a month to kill this summer before some overseas research begins… today I made a list of all the places I have friends and would like to visit. I calculated the shortest path to be 8200 miles… unfortunately I don’t think this is feasible. Trying to whittle the trip down… down to just over 6000 miles now. I think this still might be overly ambitious, I want to actually have time to enjoy myself instead of just driving.

Unfortunately my chosen career path of Electrical and Computer Engineering makes it hard to just leave for a couple years. If I spend two years away from technology and come back I’ll be way behind the loop for getting a decent job…

My body weight ranges from 140-145 lbs and I can put up 245 lbs a couple times fairly easily these days… only 45 more pounds to go!
