This was incredible! Was camping on the beach in Hawaii, and while swimming one afternoon this huge pod of dolphins came swimming up. Maybe 60-70 of them. It looked like only 20 at first, judging from the ones you could see breaking the surface, but as they got closer to me and I could see them underwater with the snorkel mask, and there were so many more! They swam right towards and around me, a few making an extra circle to check me out up close. Pretty damn cool.

I just started flipping through this, and I can’t believe I’ve gone this long without finding this book before. Seems like it has some great advice.

but now i need to actually do some more diving. it’s a great feeling being able to breath underwater, and go down really deep.
