Sounds cheesy, but I used Chantix. It worked. Started to feel depressed after just 3 weeks on the drug, so quit taking it. BUT, I was able to not smoke for 3 weeks, and so was able to convince myself to continue to stay smoke free even without the pills. Sometimes it was seriously “one at a time”, but it worked! I feel way less tired, have more stamina, and even more self esteem since accomplishing this goal.

3 boys, 3 girls. 2 married couples and 2 singles. me, single female, stumbled into this amazing trip late in planning and was welcomed aboard (abroad?) much to my great fortune! DO IT. This could have been so potentially explosive with my companions, but thanks to thoughtful planning and good balance this was all it should have been. (Kudo’s to my great friend for her impeccable planning always…) My advice would be to plan your travel and accommodations well (research) and well in advance (reservations, hostel alternates?). Part of what made this this so successful,in my opinion,is that the only itinerary WAS travel and lodging. She had done her research and, once to our destination, offered us options by way of art, clubs, cafes, events, historic sites, etc. that she had researched. Each day we (respectfully) discussed our preferences or needs and paired up accordingly. Sometimes as a whole group, sometimes girls, sometimes one would stay and nap. The important part was getting on the train or plane and sticking only to that very seriously.
Though on the top of my list would be German, Spanish, French.
