Steps I'm taking 2 months ago

Reading Dale Carnegie books…
I’m reading more nonfiction books also, like Howard Zinn’s stuff and Gloria Steinem.

Next up is swimming class with my current flatmate and also our previous flatmate. The 3 of us are really excited once summer comes along. :)

I’m also scrimping and saving so I can afford skating lessons…I’ve always enjoyed the ice. It’ll be nice to actually learn to stop and be balanced.

Focus on skin 2 months ago

My focus right now is on skincare rather than makeup. I think that nice skin will magically just improve my looks and so I won’t have to depend on loads of makeup to do it.

I’ve tried using this acne spot relief from Aveda and it’s all right..nothing amazing. I’m going to get something else from Aveda to try blemishes….and I also bought a tourmaline charged eye creme that’s supposed to decrease dark circles. So far it’s not working. I guess I need to stay consistent with it.

I’ve found Clinique foundation to work really well with me, though. I have a Makeup Forever HD powder en route from a Sephora purchase. I can’t wait! It got really good reviews and a recommendation from my flatmate.
