So last year I managed to drop about 30 pounds. And this year I’ve been doing this yo-yo deal, drop 5 gain 5, gain 3, drop 3. Up until 2 weeks ago, I weighed the same as I did when I left Weight Watchers last September, and that’s with re-joining for January, February and March. I’ve decided that the meetings just aren’t enough and certainly not worth $40 if I’m not going to take the weigh-in part seriously.
What I do take seriously is the 5 pound gain I’ve done in the matter of the last 2 weeks. I swear I can feel every ounce of it. I know I’ve been eating out way too much, and we’re not talking salad here either. And the few trips to the gym I’ve done in the past month can’t combat what I’ve been shoving in my mouth lately.
Oy.
Time to start taking the weight loss and exercise regime seriously again. April is when I started losing weight last year, I think it’s something about the spring and summer that get me motivated and winter, well, winter is just something to be survived. I mean, the good part is, I haven’t gained the 30 pounds back, but if I don’t climb back onto the bandwagon, I’m going to at the current rate of the past two weeks.
This is one of my goals that seem to be next to impossible to accomplish. I’m living at home after college and everything I own is crammed into one room.
The item that I’m dealing with the most right now is paper. I can’t seem to get organized with it and I’ve got heaps on the floor. I started cleaning up some of it a few weeks ago and now the piles look twice as big. How is that possible?
