How I did it: I booked an online promo flight at Tiger Airways coming from Singapore. Took an urgent leave from work, boarded the plane, then, upon reaching Bangkok, tried to walk to as many places as my energy and time would allow me to, tried to shop for as much things as my budget would allow me to, and tried to eat at as many Thai restaurants as my digestive system would allow me to (all during my four days of stay). Read how I did it…
when I am facing the computer at 1:33 a.m. Haha! I gotta get up for work later at around 7 a.m, but since I could not go well with very few hours of sleep, I bet I am going to get up at around 8:30a.m. LOL
I have promised myself countless times before to try to sleep earlier, maybe around 11p.m. Obviously, to no avail.
Oh well, I am not giving up with this goal. Haha! Tomorrow, I mean, later, I will do my best to go to bed before 11p.m., so I could be snoozing my dreams off at exactly 11. LOL.
Good luck to everyone else aiming to sleep and wake up earlier. :)
I have been working for my present company for almost one and a half years now. Over-all this is my second work experience, but my first one in terms of working abroad.
I already felt like quitting it last year, then early this year, but I have gathered all the courage, patience, and EQ that I could manage so as not to give up. I wanted to continue living and working in this country though, hopefully, for a different company. But blame it on (suprise surprise) “global recession”, the job market isn’t good and it isn’t that easy landing a new job. Or maybe I just need to spend more time looking for vacancies instead of doing this. Oh well, that is another story.
So guess what, there is no new job in line for me. But guess what, I do not care now. I have been feeling restless these past few weeks and felt that I am really not happy with what I am doing in this job. I would like not to worry now on whether I will be getting a new job here or I will be flying back to my country (it will be home after all, so no problem). I do not care about the pay anymore (I have managed to live with the 300% less amount of salary per month during my first job). I am going to quit no matter what.
Give me until end of this month. I cannot wait to update this entry after I have handed my well-constructed resignation letter. Cheers!
