Spent a few days at my dad’s in Calif. I got there the same day he was released from a month’s stay in the hospital after having a quadruple bypass. It has definitely taken a toll on him, but he is doing great. Hard to see your parents age, and go through health trials. I was touched when he said he felt he’d been blessed not just lucky for having the surgery instead of having a heart attack.

Worth It!

I did this last week as I drove from Provo, UT to Grover Beach, CA. I mainly left them in bathroom stalls. I hope they brightened someone’s day. They were probably just taken down by employees cleaning, but maybe it made a difference to someone. If nothing else, it made me smile.
It felt great!

Went for a 30 minute walk even though it was freezing outside. I walked along the Provo river trail. The snow, the rushing water, the peacefulness of it all, cleared my head. I used to walk this trail a lot but it’ been over 7 months since the last time I did it. I’d like the weather to warm up a bit more, but I’m going to try and do this at least twice a week.
