The definition changes as one grows. My one true friend is Jesus Christ. My husband is my best friend. I have learned that it is okay to have friends and not necessarily see them a lot, or even talk to them a lot… I must be open to the different types of friendships God puts into my life. I must also remember that some friendships have a season, and although it may cause pain- some of the seasons are shorter than others. I have lots of friends, but miss my best “girl” friend… our season has passed. Oh, well- where one door closes, another opens.

I want to get past the past… and go forward with the Lord. I want to be willing to be used by Jesus for His purpose- I just keep getting in the way!
