Yesssss, We finally have iphones on verizon. I am glad we waited until it fit our budget, but I have to say, I love this phone and I am so glad to have it now!
Having a rainy day fund available in the bank is awesome. It takes discipline, (that’s my wife), but its sooooo worth it. I love the peace of mind from knowing that we can handle any unforeseen bumps in the road!
This is an ongoing thing for me. Actually, with God as my foundation, loving my family is my priority in life.
Well it is now August 2011 and my beautiful wife still considers me to be a great husband. Actually, this is a lifelong goal that is never actually done, but I am doing this every day. This is not really complicated, it just means that I do the right thing all the time. That means never doing those obvious wrong things such as cheat or be abusive or anything like that, (I don’t really understand how some guys can’t do that). It also means making decisions that benefit my wife and family, such as taking care of my kids, working hard at my career, being careful with our budget, spending time with my family and everything else that goes along with family first.
Here we are in July and my wife told me today that I am a great husband. Cool! I don’t know when to consider this done, whether in one year or two. Well anyways, I am happily married to a really wonderful woman. She makes it easy to be good to her. I am grateful to God for Jeanny.
I got this recipe off an app from my ipad, (which I love). This is a great quick dish, that I served over rice. I browned chicken onions, sweet peppers, olives and salsa. Then I added steamed broccoli and cauliflower. The skillet was very tasty and healthy to boot.
My uncle and I recently started a side business. We bought a foreclosure, fixed it up and resold it. We made a profit, yeheyyyy! This is a big step in becoming financially independent. We intend to repeat this process and soon I want to buy a rental with the profits.
Jeanny and I have been married for 3 months now. Yes it is still the honeymoon stage in some ways, but we were actually together for over 2 years before we got married. We also have a special needs baby as well as my 2 daughters from a previous marriage, so we have a fairly serious set of circumstances. In other words, we are dealing with real life, not just having fun. Through all this, I know that I am being a great husband. I am doing all the right things and nothing bad. The only area I really need to work on is being tactful when I get grumpy or frustrated. Jeanny makes this thing easy because she is such a great wife. It is easy to be cool to someone who is so cool to me. I consider myself a great husband now, but I will not consider this done until it has been about 2 years of marriage.
I really changed over the past 24 months. I am especially proud of this area. I don’t consider myself done in the sense that I never procrastinate, but I have seriously reduced it in my life. I am a different person.
This is so great. I love that the Jeanny is who I see before I fall asleep and the first person I see when I wake up. I feel so blessed to have such a wonderful friend, partner and lover. Thank God for this wonderful woman!
