I’ve been sending off for several prospectuses/programmes from many different GAP organisations, including RealGap and Global-Vision-International, so that I can see what sort of projects i’d be interested in and the price ranges, but I need to do a little more research and talk to some people before I really start moving ahead.

How I did it: It took me about 4 months to actually apply, as I couldn't decide whether to use the 16+ account or 18+ account (if I had chosen the 18+ account it would have meant just 3 more months wait for a better interest rate). In the end I chose an eISA account, which was 16+ and ended up having the best interest rate anyway. I have chosen to put by £50 a month, I did all this on the internet to make it quicker. If i’m going to leave it a year before university (or even not go), how do I go about planning a gap year? I need to think about where I want to travel and how i’m going to finance it.
