I still have to finish watching the speech. 14 months ago

I was putting my daughter to sleep, so of course I missed the speech. I’m grateful to my friend that sent me the link to view it.

On Thursday night, August 28th, Barack Obama accepted the Democratic nomination for President of the United States.

More than 80,000 people joined him in Denver to be part of the moment, and tens of millions more shared the experience across the country.

5 Things for Sep 1 14 months ago

1.) That my mother and daughter has a special relationship
2.) That my husband had a great walk in the woods with our son
3.) That I have a bottle of wine… yet to be opened
4.) That I was able to purchase things for the house that was needed with bonus money I received from my layoff
5.) That I’m still waiting on a severance check.

2.) Cuddling with my daughter
3.) Hearing my children (daughter 22 mths, son 4 yrs 22 mths) tell me they love me.
4.) Talking with my husband just before falling asleep at night
5.) Cooking
6.) Knowing that I don’t work for Virgin Atlantic Airways anymore!!!!
