How I did it: My mom offered to get me a passport when I turned 18. I procrastinated for 9 years! Needless to say, I didn't travel much outside of the states (with the exception of Canada and Mexico by car). I had to get it when we decided to move to Dubai. It was easy. Ridiculously easy. Just stopped by the post office and picked up the paperwork, filled it out in ten minutes, went to Walgreens for passport pics, brought it all back to the post office… Read how I did it…
How I did it: It was an impulse. The opportunity came for my husband to work in Dubai. Three months later, we left the U.S. We are still here. It's been nearly three months and overall, it has been an interesting experience. Dubai is a good first country- the culture shock is minimal. The creature comforts are all here. Lots of imported foods. I'm ready to go other places and be a little gnarlier. Read how I did it…
I have no more credit debt!
All that’s left is our truck and our student loans. :)
I got my computer back in the mail from my wonderful brother- good as new! Definitely worth the $$ :)
