I haven’t quite got out of the supermarkets yet, but am trying to select fairtrade options where the choice is availible. Did slip recently when my ‘special offer’ instinct kicked in, completely silencing the ‘ethical shopper’ voice. It was only when I got home that I realised that the bag of ground coffee wasn’t fairtrade. (Still, at least it was Waitrose)

Yeah yeah, I’ve been late ticking of entries here because I ended up getting the Wii just a few minutes after midnight on launch night.
Funny thing is I didn’t pre-order and had been planning to wait as, ‘they wouldn’t sell out, unlike the PS3,’ oh isn’t hindsight great. But I was in town for other reasons, Gamestation were laying out the red carpets and I asked:
“I suppose I’m being a bit naieve, but you won’t be getting more in than you’ve got pre-orders for will you?”
“Probably, trucks on its way, not sure how many we’re getting but it should be enough.”
Shame I had to wait until Christmas.
Finaly the price of DSLRs came within my price range, prompting me to do my research and then slowly edge up through the ‘it’s only ten pounds more’ steps until once more I was paying slightly more than I can afford. But I’m happy with it.
