OK so I feel into the holiday rut—too much going on, made excuses and the whole nine yards. I think I managed to maintain (maybe put on 2 -3 lbs) but I need to make some forward progess…
Having said that, I’ve also been suffering from some issues with perimenopause (my diagnosis)... which really sidetracks me. I am going to see both my gyn and regular docs to discuss. Hopefully, I can get myself back in the groove and going in the positive direction again! I need to get my blood pressure down, lose the weight and get myself into a really healthy place….

I have been going to the gym three – four times a week since September 15th (before that did a lot of walking). I see physical progress – my clothes are much looser, my body feels tighter and in better shape but the darn scale is not showing much progress… the old – muscle weighs more than fat argument… I’m not buying it. But I do feel so much better and I like the gym I belong to so I’m keeping it up.
Maybe by next Dec (09) I will have lost 50 lbs… :-) now there’s a goal!
I find myself being terribly discouraged about meeting anyone with whom I want to spend an evening with much less a longer period of time. It seems as if all the men I meet are either dysfunctional or married (or with someone in a LTR). I have a friend now who I get along with great… of course, he’s married. Can I clone him? LOL!
It just makes me feel as if I have a large horn growing out of my forehead…or something…
Oh well…
