Well, I think at least for now, I’m pretty much done. It’s not the best thing in the world, but it’s not bad either. And hey, it’s a start.

I scribbled notes of resume line ideas on a craft paper table cloth at brunch in Park Slope a few days ago with my parents while they were in town. The paper has been crumpled at the bottom of my book bag ever since, but tonight I smoothed it out and transfered them onto my lap top.
It’s not coherent by any stretch… but at least the page isn’t blank anymore.
That means I’ve got to actually get my butt in gear and start being a big kid.
As far as I can see, this is what I need to do to get this done:
-make an appointment with the Internship coordinator
-make an appointment with my Career Services councilor
-finish my resume
-have Career Services review and edit my resume
-create my portfolio
-search school database for positions
-begin making contacts and hopefully setting up interviews
-kick butt in an interview or two
and viola!
Piece of cake, right?
