I first learned of lucid dreaming about a year ago, and have been trying to pursue it since then. I’ve had some luck, (about 8-12 lucid dreams of limited length) but would love to bring that up.
My first step is going to establish a better sleep cycle, as my irregular hours are really taking a toll on my dreaming in general. From then I’ll try to get back in the habit of reality checks, since they have worked well for me in the past.

I’ve started running as a nice, effective way of staying in shape and being active. I’m hoping that this path will lead me to a lifetime of running. We’ll see.
I’m fortunate enough to live near a large track, so I have been using it when I run. Right now, I’ve been aiming to run ~5km every second day, and I’m going to go from there.
Running, at it’s best, can be a glorious activity. I’m finding that I just need to muster the energy and motivation to get into it.

I actually found out about postcrossing from this goal, and the entire concept seems really interesting. After checking it out, I immediately signed up, and went out to buy some postcards. Something to note is the cost of sending out these cards. I’d say it costs me about $2.00 per card, when you consider postage and tax.
I’ve already sent out 5 cards to the US, Japan, China, Germany and Finland. I can’t wait to see what I get back!
