Getting a kindle has made such a difference to this goal! I know read all the time and can get new and interesting books incredebly easily. I’ve also got into the habit of reading a couple of newspaper articles every morning (just the ones that interest me!) I’m not quite ready to call this “done” yet though! I hope to get into the habit of reading more in Spanish as well as continuing reading English books. I’m thinking about making a measurable target for this goal at some point.

How I did it: Well the thing is, all of the goals on my list were still important to me I just felt I needed to be more focused on NOW so I "gave up" on fair few longer term goals (I'm sure they'll reappear on my list in time) and I'm focusing on how I can realistically change my life as it is now for the better. I've ended up with just 9 goals! I also got rid of some goals that weren't measurable or achievable, these "wishy washy" goals are still impo… Read how I did it…
How I did it: I just went through my goals and decided what's still important to me and then removed or gave up on those that weren't. I'm not saying I'll never go back to some of those goals but it's refreshing to have more space on my list and more freedom to create new goals and focus on what I really want to do! How I did it: I can't quite believe how much my life has changed over the past year. A lot of things have happened to me, I've started university, made some amazing friends, and had a lot of fun but the most important change has been within myself. I've made the decision to love life and appreciate the life I have. It's really all about the attitude you have towards life. Read how I did it…

Reading these old entries has made me realised that I actually am getting better at this. I’m becoming less needy which can only be a good thing! (I always hated my needyness but I can’t deny that I have a habit of being too dependant on my boyfriend) We’re finally coping well and even though we had a very hard time just a few weeks ago (when we even considered breaking up!) things seem to be back to normal now and so glad. I hate arguing with him-especially when we’re so far apart.
I’ve had this account for I don’t know 3 years now? And I really like the goals on my list but a lot of them are more ideas to live by rather than actual concrete achieveable goals. I feel like I should remove some of the more “wishy washy” goals on my list so I can be more focused. At times I’m tempted just to remove all my goals and start from scratch but that feels a bit too drastic!
Theres also a couple of goals that reflected things I wanted to do a few years ago but don’t really interest me anymore!
Basically I need to have a clear out!
