How I did it: Well we saved our money for a long time. We finally made the decision this summer and have never looked back. Its was 4200 miles of the most beautiful journey I have ever had in my life. Cant wait for the winter to see if we are going to be true alaskans. Read how I did it…

GOING TO ALASKA

My wife and I are moving to alaska in spring of 2009. We are saving our money and selling everything we have. We have 2 children and we want to make a better life for them. We currently live in dallas, texas and frankly, we are sick of the heat. We have a friend that moved there a couple of years ago and he said he will never leave. The time cannot move quickly enough for us. We are bursting with joy anticipating the journey.
