Novel writing 4 years ago

Well, this novel writing this is a lot harder than I thought it would be. I’m about a week and a half behind, not sure if I’ll be able to finish this, but I’m not giving up yet. I figured out that I wasn’t writing during the first week because it was too personal too me, I couldn’t step back from it enough to just write the way I needed to, without editing every few seconds. So I changed my topic, now I’m writing my family’s fairy tale; my motivation is not only just to be the one to write it for my family, but also to give it to my grandfather, edited and bound, for Christmas.

Just found out about National Novel Writing Month and I’m very excited! This just may be the opportunity for me to get off of my butt and write something! 50,000 words of something! Now if I could just pull together a plot…

Yanni is spectacular! I must have cried though half of it, his music is so incredibly moving, and he is wonderful to watch. I hope to one day play flute with him!
