Buy an iPod. (read all 2 entries…)
Finally!! 22 months ago

The headphones, while dubiously tiny, pack a ton of sound without bothering the neighbors like my stereo occasionally does. I love the instant feedback b/t my iTunes & my laptop, the portability, adaptability, and simplicity. Granted I’m familiar with iTunes which I’ve had for several years but it’s pretty straight forward. Plus the GORGEOUS skin I received as a gift from gela skins is stunning!! My life is finally, irrevocably, and completely changed for the better!

Coffee Break 2 years ago

I really try and be less awkward and seem genuine, but it doesn’t roll smoothly off my sleeve sometimes. It’s ironic since my MBA focus eventually will be HR/management. But I always try and help guests since Google has the resources to accommodate them. Today a guest had been waiting 3 hrs for a meeting so I escorted her back to the break room after awhile to get some coffee. It’s my job—at the very least it makes it more interesting and fun for me :) Plus it’s rewarding.

Farmer's Market 2 years ago

Mainly because I live in Cali it’s easy to get fresh produce most of the year from a stone’s throw away, even in large cities. I buy produce only from farmer’s markets-there are 20 that have set up booths on different days of the week so I’m never at a loss for fresh food. And it’s fun to work with what’s strictly in season. I just bought mushrooms, winter squash and beans, peppers, carrots, and some amazing onions. It’s now a transition from the last of the fruits-persimmons, pomegranates, and apples to root vegetables and squash :) I just tried new varieties of bean and peas I’d never heard of—the beans however were a little bitter.
