I’ve had to go to counseling because SOO many negative things have been weighing me down lately and it’s taking its toll on me. The counselor asked me to name the things about myself that I liked. I assume that naming 100 things that make me happy will show me all the positive things around me =].

How I did it: I set up a free meeting with my college's nurtritionist, and she basically gave me a list of foods that would be impossible to get on campus. She also told me what I could get on campus, but it was the stuff I was already eating. Salads, fruits, lean meats, low fat dairy, and whole grains (in healthy proportions spread out through the day). So as it turns out I already eat healthy and I'm just doomed to be overweight. How I did it: I just stayed patient the two years I had to wear braces. I made sure to brush my teeth often to prevent the staining I've seen on other people. I wore my bands as instructed. When they took them off, they just kind of popped right off with no trouble. The sanding wasn't so great, but when they got the glue off my teeth looked great. Read how I did it…
I have like 5 more months. At least. He can’t really give me an estimate, which scares me a bit. I have PERFECTLY straight teeth now, but he is still pulling back the overbite (he removed two teeth in order to do so). I’m trying to be patient.
I officially quit. I’m so proud of myself. It’s been about 4 months. Possibly 5. This time I’m not going to start back again. It’s been long enough to break the habbit.
