At least when it comes to the Northern California coastline. If you can, drive the stretch of Hwy 1 between Monterey and Morro Bay. You will not be disappointed.

I ran the Country Music Marathon in Nashville, TN, on April 26, 2008. My official chip time was 5:20:39, which is a little slower than I wanted but heck – I was happy to finish! I’ve run three half marathons and decided it was time to run the full 26.2. Despite the muscle soreness, it was totally worth it!

That was my time. My goal was two and a half hours, so I had 37 seconds to spare! Life is sweet.

There will never be a more accurate representation of modern women on television again. HBO takes the cake.
