I’m praying hard for a miracle right now. I’ve read so many spiritual books about how the power of prayer and positive thought can actually change situations for the better and it always sounds so simple and easy to do when you’ve got nothing to worry about in your life. Then BANG something terrible happens and it’s not so easy to find these positive thoughts. So I’m praying like I’ve never prayed before.

How I did it: My passion for the subject kept me going. I also didn't want this to be another course I started and didn't complete. The fact that the course material was interesting and the exercises fun to do really helped as well. Not to mention the positive feedback from my tutor after each assignment - couldn't have done it without her. I had originally planned to do this Diploma in one year but soon came to realise this wasn't a r… Read how I did it…
Have now reduced my working week so I can dedicate more time to being an ‘artist’. I do a set number of hours in the studio each day and really try to stick to this otherwise I would get distracted and end up doing other stuff, like housework – eek!
I know, it’s just so exciting! Isn’t it just an amazing feeling when someone actually likes your stuff enough to want to pay money for it! It was a just a very quick pen & ink dawing I did many years ago and it was gathering dust at the back of my portfolio but now it has a proper mount and backing and I’ve added my name (had a lot of practice just getting the signature right!). The hardest part has been putting a price on it. I mean how do you put a price on your own work?
