Started taking yoga…seems to be pretty easy, but is still a pretty good work out.
Started taking yoga…seems to be pretty easy, but is still a pretty good work out.
10 miler and 5ish miler. My achilles is now feeling much better. I also exchanged my shoes (2nd time) so I’m hoping these work.
Up to a 10 miler this week, and started running hills. Also got new(er) shoes. The back of my ankle started hurting midweek and now I can barely walk on it….from searching online I have an idea of what it is but I think I’m going to go to the doctor.
9 miler (woo!), 3 miler, 5 miler. I’m sore for the first time today as a result of my long run….it’s longer than I’ve ever run! I’m also running into some issues with my new shoes…they’re not breaking in very well and I’ve had to exchange them once already.
4 miler (new route!), 5 miler, 8 miler. I’m getting excited for the race!
6 miler, 3 miler, 4 miler, 7 miler. 6 miler counts as last week’s long run. I felt really strong on the 7 miler this morning!
7 weeks until the 1/2 marathon…
...for a 1 credit hour yoga class in the spring! Meets 2x a week in the morning.
...and smelled pretty nice, too! It’s amazing to see how much I’ve collected over the past couple years.
....because I skipped my normal Sunday long run but went Monday, so I am counting it as this week. I’m up to 6 miles!
I missed a run but did manage 4 and 5 milers. I think now I’m at the point that I need to start upping my milage or else I wont be ready at all.
I’m giving up all sweets for lent (yearly tradition with my Dad). I hope this helps a little, maybe I can actually get it done before vacation in June…? Eh, I always say that…
I had a busy week, so I did a 3 miler, 4 miles with speedwork, and aother 4 miles for my “long” run that was suppossed to be 6….but I felt awful, I thik its because I had just given blood a couple days before. Hopefully tomorrow will be better.
I had a great week…4 miler, 3 mile tempo run (~9:20 pace), and a 5 miler.
11 miles this week…I’m getting there! The weather was gorgeous today and I did a 4 miler. And the roads finally cleared up…so yay!
...I began to go through a box of school stuff and miscellaneous papers. Got rid of about half of it, and the rest of it I separated and filed. I also got rid of an old boom box (gave it to Dad), broken printer, and play-doh fun kit (gave it to a kid). This gives me so much more room to work with in my closet.
...reading As You Like It and Macbeth. I was Lady Macbeth in a school play, so it’s kinda funny to read the lines again.
I found some really old oil paints downstairs- they’re not mine or my dad’s, so I have no idea why they are in our house. Some of them are still good. Maybe it’s a sign!
