deal with my anxiety
Dealing with my Anxiety 23 months ago

I have done a lot to get it under control. It has been hard for me. But once you do it you feel so good about your self. The best thing to do is not to set yourself up to fail. Saying that you are going to go out all day with out an anxiety attack is setting yourself up to fail. Just say to your self that you are going to go out for a hour and come back home, or two hours. Start out little to build yourself up so you will feel better about it. And when you get one tell yourself nothing is going to happen to me, i cant die from it or get hurt, just accept what is going on, and deal with it in a clam way. It is a hard thing to do but is the best thing for you.

The frist time you have to do is understand anxiety, and what it does to you. You have to do something about it and not let it take over your life. Anxiety cant hurt you and it is just a body reaction to stress in our lives. Its just a imbalance of chemicals in our brain that trigger the overwhelming sensation. Dont add to your anxiety with negative thinking and tell your self you are going to get trew it. Take time out of your day for like 30mins to 40mins to think about all your worries and what you have to do to change them. After that let them go. It helps you alot. Muscle relaxation is a good thing to do and it is easy. Start by choosing a muscle and holding it tight for a few seconds. Then let it go relaxing it. Do this with all your muscles try starting with your feet muscles and working your way up to the top of your head. Deep breathing is good to do too. Just breathe in slowly and make your stomach rise a little and hold your breath for a couple seconds and let it out slowly.
It help your anxiety to confornt the things in the past that have made you anxious. Every time you do it get easier and easier. And use meds if it helps. I hope this has help people out.
