I recently joined couch surfing. I am in the midst of my first couch surfing experience and so far all things are good :) Its a great idea: kind heart, good people that like to meet like minded people and welcome them into their countries. Its great!

How I did it: Since I was 12 I have NEVER been single. So after my ex and I broke up I decided to take one year off. No one thought I would be able to do it. Truthfully I did not think I could do it... but one year has passed!! Its actually over one year. And I am still single and still enjoying!! Improve your communication and organization skills. 9, 14 or 20 months program. Boarding expenses. No special qualification needed.
No salary in the first 6 months. In Africa food, accommodation, pocket money, and health insurance.
