Have a WONDERFUL and MEMORABLE year in Mozambique!!
Sweet home Mozambique 7 months ago

I have been here about 5 weeks now and I love it. I am volunteering with an oraganization called Humana People to People. I live in a village called Vanduzi and I LOVE it. I have no running water, and no toilet. Only a hole in the ground, but it is so nice. The organization I choose is not the best. Nor is the work. Of the 6 day work week I have 3 days are spent in all day meetings. These meeting are long and boring and just about statistics, which is NOT why I crossed the globe. I crossed the globe to help PEOPLE!!! Not to sit in meeting! But, when I am able to escape the meeting and be with the people I love it!!

I have arrived in St. Vincent. Of a team of 24 I am the only from the US so I am getting quit the global experience!!

This woman (my mother) is SO AMAZING!!! 1 year ago

I come home the other day and there is a gift for me. It’s wrapped in newspaper with this note attached to it: “Jessica, Chasing your dream. Living your destiny. Seeking your purpose! Love Mom”
So, I open the gift and my mom painted me a picture, it’s a beautiful picture of a flower and a tree and it says, “You are the beauty in everyday life”
My mom is so cool. She’s so fantastic. I LOVE that woman!
