Sometimes 4 hours of sleep is enough but when your body wants to pay off the sleep debt, then you get in all sorts of trouble. Including: disorientation, microsleeps, and recently for me—high blood pressure.

Just finished the Spring Semester so now there’s no more reason to wake up early (until May 15 that is). But the problem now is that I oversleep. Oversleeping = headaches, stiff neck, low energy and what’s worse, I feel like sh*t when I wake up and shortly thereafter I have to go to work. It’s such a waste of life. If you’re like me who is sick and tired of playing dead let’s cook up some sort of wake up action plan. I’m thinking: what if we could set up some sort of IM wake-up call? My targeted awakening time would be 7:00 AM. So around 7:15 to 7:45 AM EST I will be on yahoo messenger or gmail chat. Anyone who’s up for the challenge, let me know—we’ll trade IM’s. This way is almost like reporting for work except for it will be a “breakfast chat”.
