How I did it: First I tried www.livemocha.com, and that worked pretty well, but tended to be rather "exercise" focused. Next, and with better results, I tried www.sharedtalk.com. In addition to getting a pen pal, it's good for the Spanish-English chat room. Read how I did it…
How I did it: Bought a basic cook book Made many of the basic recipies, calling my mom when I had a question. Called my mom when it didn't work out, asking why she thought it didn't. Was interested in the topic and talked to other people who cooked. Read how I did it…
How I did it: Went to http://www.geocaching.com/ to sign up and learn how. Bought a low end GPS. Went geocaching. There were several caches within a half mile or so of my house. Read how I did it…

I’m not making the progress the schedule dictates. It’s too hard on my feet and legs. But I’m staying with it and making (slow but) steady progress.
Today’s plan: Jog 8 minutes, walk 5 minutes, jog 8 minutes.
