Now I have a job, I can definitely start looking into flights and whatnot.
I’d love to be over there for the tattoo convention in June, depending on when the big move to Australia falls.

How I did it: I wrote a little note on a post it and stuck it in the book I was taking back to the library.I picked a book that I'd loved (it was about Lord Byron, who I absolutely adore) and left a little note to the next reader.I hope that the next person who picks up the book will smile when they see it. How I did it: I basically just applied and applied and applied. I had my mum helping me out with my CV and giving me advice about how to approach prospective employers.I applied online for Vue cinema, got an interview and got the job. It was a new experience for me, because the other two jobs I had didn't require interviews, I was just given a couple of days to try it out. I was really nervous but it was fine. The waiting for the call was the worst part… Read how I did it…
How I did it: Had a good nosey on Amazon and found my perfect camera. Ordered it, waited a couple of days and soon Nissley-Day was in my possession. Can't wait to break him in this weekend!Just in time for all my friends visits over the next couple of weeks and my return home too! Read how I did it…

Start work next week, can’t wait to get some money coming in again!
Going to try and put about £100 a month away towards the flat next year.
The old Crew basically consists of the amazing kids I used to go to gigs with back when I lived in Preston. Going to gigs on my own up here has made me realise just how much I miss them and how incredibly important they are to me.
Live music was my life, it saved me, and the people I met at those shows were a huge part of that. I lived from gig to gig, the only reason I could think to get up in the morning was because I had to see some band in some venue in a few days time. I realise now that the banter with those kids before and after the show played a massive role too.
So, because I’ll be working most of Christmas, I’m going to set about organising a huge party during the festive season, when everyone can skip college or university and just hop on a train and get to Edinburgh. We’ll drink a lot, go see some live music (obviously) and all crash out in my flat kitchen.
Absolutely perfect.
