I need to learn Arabic so I can read the True Qur’an (as this relates to my last post of converting to Islam). Wow, Arabic is definitely not an easy language ESPECIALLY because I’ve lost my notebook and I’m still trying to balance life. I do have many Islamic brothers assisting me and I DID impress the Saudi Arabian boy at my school with my Arabic, but still. I need to learn the language so I can read the Qur’an and teach my children (when I have them..years and years from now) the right wayy.
Okay, I’m done goal-ing for now.

I’m in the midst of converting to Islam and I still have so much to learn. I’m trying to study prayer and Shahaadah whilst practising Wudhu and Ghusl and setting up for being Muslim ALSO while balancing my everyday life. I’m thinking I’ll wait until my friend (and also Muslim guru), Zishan, gets back from Pakistan on December 21st to officially convert but there’s so much for me to learn!

I want to finally finish one of my stories.
It’s like, I always start them, get a good 20-30 pages in then just stop. I get too lazy or something of that nature… So I REALLLLLLLLLLY would like to find the drive to finally finish one!
I think, often, my main cause for just giving up is I think it sucks and the only people I’ve read my stories to recently have been my sister & my best friend, Jordan. And like, they’re SUPPOSED to tell me they’re great. I think Stephen King was right in saying we’re often the worst critic of our own work but I would REALLY love to finish a story and even get it published.[:
