It’s bizarre because as much as I love my own apartment by myself, I think I would be really anxious without being able to hear the people upstairs walking around on my ceiling. I like hearing them to know someone else is here and to hear the signs of life. So in summary, I don’t really want to live alone alone, but it is kinda fun in a greedy kinda way to have your own place and have everything exactly where you left it =)

How I did it: The hard part was studying before the class and passing the pre-test that comes with the book. By the time you show up to class you are just reinforcing that material, asking questions, and having fun with it!Addition: Not a week after completing this class a patient coded on the floor. At first I was hesitant to go, thinking there were already enough people in the room. But when I looked, I saw that they needed help bec… Read how I did it…
I went to mexico this past weekend and got to practice a little spanish. My spanish seems to improve with cerveza. =)
So for the sake of history I should mention that in February I cursed out the charge nurse at the desk in front of the day and nigh shifts beause it was shift change! So I got written up and sent home and “counseled” and all kinds of good stuff.
I was really hating everything (still on the floor in oncology, never got the pacu job) when I randomly went on vacation to FL.
Loved it and rented an apartment. Interviewed at one hospital and they were like, you can start tomorrow on oncology. I asked about working in Endo, they said they’d get back to me on that. I said I’d get back to them on oncology.
So I went ahead with the move even though I didn’t have a job lined up, crazy, right? However I then found a job advertised for a clinical research nurse and I found out yesterday I got the job!
