I'm at 170 birds! 3 years ago

After a couple of fabulous days in the Reserva Costana Sur I’ve gotten my life list to 170 different birds. Yay!

You can see the birds from Argentina

Highlights include:

the monk parakeet which collects twigs in pairs and build colonies out of huge stick nests
the always beautiful yellow winged Jackana
the hot-red Vermillion Flycatcher
the tiny yellow-eye-ringed Pico de Plata

1984... finally! 3 years ago

George Orwell’s 1984 has been on my “been meaning to read” list for over 10 years. I finally finished it in Mexico a little over a week ago. Yay!

Read the Wall Street Journal every day

My subscription just started 3 years ago

Yesterday I got my first copy of the Wall Street Journal. I’ve read it 2 days in a row and I’m thouroughly enjoying it.
