My mother dreams of a Family Christmas in New York, with all of her children and the in-laws and cousins. Hopefully this year!

Absolutely buy a house! Make sure you’re debt-free first, and then have at it! There is nothing like the safe feeling of being in your own home, where no one has the keys but you. You can paint, you can garden, get a dog, and you can plan for your future.
It’s grand at tax time.
No more sending huge payments every month to credit cards for things that are already used up, or paying for a truck that is considered “old” already! Even my college education now is completely paid off.
Now, I can give more to my loved ones, spruce up my house (my only bill), and pour my paychecks into retirement accounts!
Take your smallest bill and pay it off. Take the next-smallest balance, and throw everything you can at that, while making minimum payments on everything else. Work hard, stick to it. Debt goes away fast that way!
