The core philosophy of the 8-fold path is a very worthwhile way to base one’s life.
It’s definitely worth using the opportunity of a birthday to keep in touch with a family member or friend. It gives me pleasure to remember and send the eCard and I know that the person who receives it appreciates the thought.
There are so many wise insights in “The Secret”. One of them is simply “focus on the positive”. When we focus on the positive, we attract positive energy and situations into our lives. Conversely, when we focus on the negative, we get exactly that! My challenge is to be aware of my thoughts and actions so that I can correct myself when I notice that I am being negative.
