get a tattoo that has a significant meaning

I did this once already, but I have my second one planned out… the first is a candle with the words “illustra obscurum” (latin for “illuminate what is obscured,” or, roughly, “light the darkness”) around it. For my next tattoo, I want to get all of my siblings (I’m one of six) to write their own names and then I’m going to design it in a circle and have it tattooed on my ankle.

I got a beautiful design of a candle, all outlined (black) with the flame colored in orange/yellow gradient. Around the outside, it says “illustra obscurum” – latin for light the darkness, or “illuminate what is obscured,” more precisely. It’s in the center of my back, between my shoulder blades, roughly 3.5 inches tall. I’m thrilled!
