I think I will be ready to call this accomplished at 6 months in. The November/December weeks will be the most challenging I think.

How I did it: I decided to make this a goal when I realized that most of my weekends were spent watching TV, sleeping late, and shopping. This does not make for a fulfilling life (for me). How I did it: Pretty much waited until there was a time I could actually attend the concerts. Ordered tickets. Reserved a car. Packed up a lot of snacks. Drove from the Bay Area, took lots of breaks, kept driving even when it looked like we were driving to nowhere. Read how I did it…
How I did it: It took awhile to find somewhere that was both close enough for this to be viable for us, and had a relatively positive trend of reviews from Tripadvisor and/or Yelp. I had plans to do this at a ranch about 45 minutes away, and saw many reviews that the horses were treated poorly, so I cancelled my reservation. Well, one day a week wasn’t as easy for us to do, it didn’t feel consistent, or impactful. So, we’re going to try this, and already have our dinners planned for this coming workweek. Hopefully this will be easier for us to accomplish.
I haven’t read one of these in at least 4 months. Started reading one that I had a really hard time with, and discouraged me from starting more. I guess if it’s important enough to immerse myself and learn about terrific female writers that aren’t talked about, I need to start again.
