Well, one day a week wasn’t as easy for us to do, it didn’t feel consistent, or impactful. So, we’re going to try this, and already have our dinners planned for this coming workweek. Hopefully this will be easier for us to accomplish.

How I did it: Pretty much waited until there was a time I could actually attend the concerts. Ordered tickets. Reserved a car. Packed up a lot of snacks. Drove from the Bay Area, took lots of breaks, kept driving even when it looked like we were driving to nowhere. Read how I did it…
How I did it: It took awhile to find somewhere that was both close enough for this to be viable for us, and had a relatively positive trend of reviews from Tripadvisor and/or Yelp. I had plans to do this at a ranch about 45 minutes away, and saw many reviews that the horses were treated poorly, so I cancelled my reservation. How I did it: Figured out how much additional money I'd have to pay per month to get the balance on my loan paid off within a year. Paid this bill first every month in order to make sure I was keeping to the plan, and then watched my balance go down every month. My last check just got cashed! Read how I did it…

I haven’t read one of these in at least 4 months. Started reading one that I had a really hard time with, and discouraged me from starting more. I guess if it’s important enough to immerse myself and learn about terrific female writers that aren’t talked about, I need to start again.
