Live to be 100
I will turn 100 in the year 2092 :O 3 months ago

I am currently 17 years old! A long way from 100. I hope to practice mental and physical health ideals in order to become a centenarian on January 20, 2092 :D

Lifestyle:
1) Reduce heavy sunlight exposure and use sunscreen often and properly
2) Floss every day! There is a link between gum disease and heart disease.
3) Meditate daily

Diet:
1) Achieve and maintain a healthy weight
2) Stop taking iron supplements and instead eat more leafy greens

Health care:
1) Have a doctor’s appointment annually
2) Get blood pressure checked annually

fold 1000 origami cranes (read all 5 entries…)
Untitled 3 months ago

203 as of today. I’ve been making them in the car and before work, but still not as many as I would at school.

Only a month and a week left until school’s back, anyhow.

I still don’t know what I’m going to do with these when I’m finished. They’re not made with origami paper and are all different shapes and sizes, so I can’t really string them up into those beautiful collections.

Maybe I should decorate my ceiling with them.

become a better musician. (read all 2 entries…)
Another challenge. 4 months ago

So next year, AP English and the auditioned Senior Jazz Band are in the same block.

This means that I had to choose between them.

I can’t not be in English, so looks like I’m in the non-auditioned Senior Jazz, which practices in another block (I still had to not take Social Justice or Acting to free that block up…apparently the school system just doesn’t like me for grade 12).

The only thing is, I’ve been in the auditioned group for three years. Now I’m suddenly going to be playing at a way lower level and I’m extremely bummed, especially since this is my last year as a high school musician.

But, I’m friends with a lot of people in the non-auditioned band, and I believe we can pull together and become something awesome.

Even if we only have one trombone and eight saxes…

EDIT: BUT I got into a new choir for next year that’s seperate from my school :D It’s taught by my favourite conductor ever. I’m very excited.
