I got a job about 2 weeks ago! Yippeeeee! For now, it’s part-time, but I think I’m proving myself worthy of a full-time position. Yay!

Just moved to Georgia and can’t seem to impress anyone past the the interview. “you’re great for this position” one minute: “we went with someone else, sorry” the next. UGH! Had a problem in south Florida, because of the language barrier. I just don’t get it here, though. None of the jobs I apply for require me to be bilingual, and I meet all of their requirements. I can actually say that I am a Professional Interviewist – is that a word? The interview happens, and I am led to believe I have the position, for a month, in one instance, and then I get that wonderful phone call telling me different. I’m in the midst of that process right now, actually. HELP! HIRE ME! SOMEBODY PLEASE GIVE ME A CHANCE!!!

I’m 38 and want to have a baby. My husband has no interest in it, or in me. He never has. What do I do before my time runs out?
