We were driving home from Alabama in the rain, and as we were almost out of the state it changed over to snow.

Whoever said it takes 21 days to form a habit lied. I worked out just over 21 days and then I let it go. I’ve been back at it this week. I am going to make this work!
I’m trying to find all the ingredients for a rich facial/body cream for my super dry skin. It has coconut oil, jojoba oil, beeswax, distilled water, lavender oil, and sandalwood oil. I’m having a bit of trouble finding the beeswax. Although, I haven’t had the time to do any searching online. I was hoping to find it locally.
After pondering water bottles for some time, I finally decided on a Nagalene. It is BPA free and made in the USA. I was going to get a Kleen Kanteen or something like it because it was stainless steel instead of plastic. However they are made in China. Given that the plastic is well made and free of toxins, I choose to support our country over China any day.
My pictures this week mostly consisted of children at my school. I don’t care to post their pictures here without their parents’ permission. Stay tuned next week.
Can you guess what this is? If you can, you’ll definitely know I’ve had a hard time thinking of things to take pictures of this week.
I finally finished Catch-22. I decided to restart my booklist in order by season, so I’m now reading The Mysterious Island by Jules Verne. This book was suggested in reference to Shannon saying that they were on “Mystery Freakin Island.” I’m almost 1/4 thorough, and I’m really liking it so far. I see lots of parallels. Four people and a dog are stranded on an island after their balloon crashes during a storm. So far they’re still doing a lot of exploring. I’m sure it will get stranger soon.
This is probably my best picture for the week. We have a big punch bowl from our wedding that now has pillar candles in it. I love the look of the candlelight through the stained glass.
After this evening, I will have worked out continually for twenty days! I think I’m actually making this a habit. Yay me!
We’re planning to do the section from Chicago to St. Louis this spring break. While most people go south, we’re going north. Oh well… I can’t wait to get started.
We’ve had tons of rain the past few weeks. Tuesday night it rained 7 inches, and we actually had a flood day off school Wednesday. I took the free time to drive around a bit and check out some of the flooding.
Until recently I have really lapsed on yoga or even focusing on posture at all. I got a Wii Fit for Christmas and I’m noticing posture improvement as a side bonus with the yoga and balance games. It’s slow though, I have much room for improvement.
We’ve had a lot of fog and mist the past few days. DH made a great suggestion of the fog framed by the tunnel.
We finally got a new, and super nice, GPS for Christmas from my parents. Now we’re on a geocaching frenzy. We’re up to 84 now and maybe we’ll make it to 100 tomorrow. We’ll see.
I’m determined to make it though. Catch-22 is something to think about in it’s own strange way. It really is a satire on the red tape and procedures of life. Something to ponder most greatly…
Last year I started a bit late and I missed a lot of days, but overall I did pretty well. Now I’m actually starting on Day 1. Let’s see how well I keep up!
I got a wii fit for Christmas and both DH and I are excited about it. We’ve been going every day since Christmas so far. Finally something that’s really motivating for me. Here’s to keeping with it.
