I didn’t quite succeeded, but I enjoy having a goal and I’m trying again this year!
I am now a member of the local swing dance club in my university and every wednesday I go to the beginner’s lessons and I am better now ! Plus, I go to the big Ottawa social swing dances on Friday nights and I love it !
I always skipped the part of doing abs exercice because I thought it was useless. I started doing them about a month ago and I can feel the difference. Not only does it hurt, but also stuff are starting to get toned in my midsection although I still have fat there… Also, I started weight training for my upper arms, shoulders and I love it.
thanks for free well-equiped university gym !
I was updating my list of books read this year and I am now at 110, so I believe I should be able to reach my goal or so I hope ! I manage to read around 10 books in September since school started, so if I continue at that rythm, I’ll be able to read the other 40 books in the next 3 months or so I hope ! Maybe I’ll have a reading blitz after December 17 when my finals are over :)
I got mononucleosis earlier this summer which put me in bed rest, no working out, no working at all actually ! All I did for 3 weeks was sleep, eat and read !!! This is life at its peak. Mono was truly godsent in that case !
I just convinced my mom to train with me at the gym. Although we won’t do the same thing there, we will go together most times, so we’ll have an obligation. It’s all starting tomorrow, how exciting ! Since I left university, I felt unfit without going to gym at least once or twice a week, but I will be more fit really soon.
well not really, but I’m going to have an intensive German class at the Goethe-Institute in Montreal and I will get better. Plus, I’m taking German either both semesters next year, but at least one of both. Germany, here I come !
since I have no school, I have been able to read a lot more, so I’m achieving my goal I think !
