Well, yesterday was the “Race for the cure” in Frankfurt, Germany, and I completed the 2 km in 15 min! At first I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to do it at all, because I had caught a stomach bug and was just recovering. But as I was walking I realized that I could have gone on and on and on! :) I even managed to beat my own record! :)
That’s why I want to do 3 5k-runs (not walks! ;-) ) next year: Race for the cure, JP Morgan Chase Corporate Challenge and “Lauf fuer mehr Zeit”, which is a run for AIDS research. I’m starting training today!

Well, I’ve been to the gym three times this week, and decided to start with cardio training (cross trainer and treadmill). ;o) I have set my mind on this and I will keep it up! I forgot how much better and relaxed I feel after training! :o)

I’m going to do the Susan G. Koman “Race for the cure” 2k walk in Frankfurt (Germany) in two weeks. I’m not fit enough to run a 5k marathon, but I’ve wanted to do something like this for a long time, so I thought I’d give it a try! And it’s for a good cause! I was able to coax a friend into walking with me, and we are bringing our own cheerleader to cheer for us (my friend’s boyfriend). I’m really excited! :-)
