It was just another normal day in North Carolina when a friend called and said that for some reason, you could see the northern lights in our town. I and a Dutch exchange student who was staying with me jumped in the car in search of a secluded area. We sat on the car and watched the lights dance in the sky, it was so unexpected, but so beautiful. I’d always planned on seeing them, but it felt like they had practically come to me.
So now, my goal is to see them again!
