How I did it: I caught up with my best friend tonight after she'd finished work. We went to 'The Garden of Unearthly Delights': a month-long fair that is part of the Fringe Festival. They have a variety of little stalls, including a henna one. We flicked through the folder of choices. So many! I went with a butterfly and she went with a chain of hearts around her ankle. I found it very relaxing to watch the woman paint. Read how I did it…
How I did it: Went for a wander up to my nearest shopping strip, until I found the place that did threading. Walked in and asked if they could do it, they said it would be a half an hour wait. I said that was fine and killed some time in a bookstore. Went back when the time was up and the lady pulled out a strand of cotton out and placed one end in her mouth. How I did it: I'm actually kind of disappointed that I've completed this goal now, it was a great way of reminding myself to not be so fussy. I began by trying new foods that I didn't find so intimidating, such as a different flavour of chocolate or dip. To that end, I have:- Attended a job interview this morning for a second teaching agency.
- Organised a phone interview to determine if I’m eligible for financial assistance.
- Used one of my teacher contacts to organise work in a preschool this coming Monday.
- Celebrate our 7 year anniversary! I spent the day working and C spent the day cleaning the old place. Not very romantic.
- Go to the bank and change to an account that doesn’t charge me fees.
- Attend chiropractic re-exam next week. If it goes well, he’s said we’ll try and straighten further!
