About 2 months ago, I saw a fantastic knit wig (yes, wig! like for your head!) on reddit. The pattern was actually from knitty.com, but I found the link on reddit. Anyway… it sparked a knitting renaissance.
I’ve been knitting for almost 10 years and had completed woefully few projects: a pair of socks, a pair of mittens, a baby sweater, booties, dishclothes, a couple scarves and hats. Not an impressive turn out, for 10 years. But that’s all over now. In the last two months, I’ve completed 5 projects and pulled out a sweater that I never completed (it was my first major project, and I discovered 2 years after I started it that I did not have enough yarn!) I’ve started a new sweater in a skimpier pattern with that lovely black wool, and I look forward to the triumph of finally wearing something made from it.
Well, I guess my entry boils down to this: if you want to knit more, but need inspiration, look no further than knitty.com. :)
