That 43 things continues
10 years after introducing 43 Things to the world, we have decided we have met our last goal: completing the incredible experience that has been 43 Things. Please join us in giving one last cheer to all the folks who have shared their goals with the world, as well as all the people who have worked at The Robot Co-op to build this incredible website. We won a Webby Award, published a book, and brought happiness to a lot of people.
Starting today, 43 Things users can export their goals and entries from the site. Starting August 15, we will make the site “read only”. 43 Things users will still be able to view the site and export their content, but we won’t be taking any new content from users. We hope to leave the site up for folks to see and download their content until the end of the year. Ending on New Year’s Eve takes us full circle.
It has been a long ride (one of our original goals was to "build a company that lasts at least 2 years” - we beat that one!) While we wish the site could live on, it has suffered from a number of challenges - changes in how people use the site, the advertising industry, and how search engines view the site. We wish the outcome was different – but we’ve always been realistic about when our goals are met and when they aren't.
As of today, you will be able to download your goals and entries. See more about that on the FAQ page. Thanks for 10 great years of goal-setting and achieving.

Because I love 43T.
& going forward some more.
Happy Birthday New Isabella!
Good wishes & blessings to you. Abundance and magic and a cornucopia of everything that you need.
A bright, chilly, sunny day.
Being early for a planned meeting. Making a sound business decision and feeling elated.
Having a warm conversation with someone far away.
Things just falling into place today…seems like it’s been a long time since this has happened…
Noticing the fragrance of orange blossoms in the air, or some kind of blossoms.
Finding shoes that fit, were on sale & the store is even willing to hold them until payday.
Updating my entries on 43things at the library until I have my wireless back on at home…long live the public library. The droid would work but the keyboard is small..much easier to use a larger keyboard. Truly amazing how much I’m getting done at home without an easily accessible internet connection though, hmmm
Unexpected support and collaboration.
Preparing a planter to give to another teacher with my 3rd period class.
A safe snug place to live with two big sweet doggies.
Making baked potato soup, adding green onions, bread crumbs…taking it next door to share with my dear neighbor, who added cheddar cheese to our feast!
Getting the bulbs planted at school during sixth period…weathering a mild amount of chaos…focusing the kids that enjoyed and got to participate.

A sunny bright day off with pay; stopping at Trader Joe’s and enjoying every minute.
Dealing with the wrist injury. Getting an immediate appointment and being treated well. Hoping for the best.
Having a productive adventure at the fabric store…finding a fabric to complete a dress from Mexico (great dress-style, color, etc, but the waistline is only netting, so the answer is to attach pretty matching fabric to the inside, making it look like it’s supposed to be that way :)
Wresting with the window fabric, getting the rod, etc attached and finally just draping the fabric over the rod, just to see how the colors look in the room. I like this! Who knows, I may never have any stitching done on this, just keeping arranging this gorgeous fabric around the decorative rod.
A nice phone conversation and a fun text exchange.
Seeing the musical Damn Yankees on a free ticket thanks to an impromptu invite on Sunday.
Playing handbells in church. Enjoyed wearing the purple, turquoise scarf with the black pencil skirt, black cardigan and blue top.
Dropped the purse off for handle repair at the saddle shop. Hope that replacing the handle will make this purse as good as new (or better). Trying to be resourceful, conservative, money-smart.
Having a dear friend over for a few minutes before going to a $1 theatre showing of “Sherlock Holmes.” Love that Robert Downey Jr.
Getting helpful suggestions for the kitchen window fabric dilemma.
Picking up my car and finding it in great condition.
Going through the drive-thru at In-and-Out Burger without turning off the car once…no overheating. So very thankful!
A generous co-worker picking me up for work.
Being ready on time.
A decent sunny Friday.
Leaving on time.
Finding out that the car repair would only be around $100.
Giving a box of grapefruit-sized oranges to the massage therapist at the docs office.
Getting a massage courtesy of my insurance company.

An evening text exchange that made me smile.
A day off with pay. Very thankful.
Meeting two friends for an elegant lunch. All staff are volunteers, net proceeds go to a local charity. Gorgeous vintage building. An unexpected treat, one of them picked up the check as a thank you to me.
Visiting a fabric store to buy buttons & thread to continue this mending trend.
Spending a few hours organizing and searching for buttons, repairing, sorting. Getting a small box of things together to take to the nearby wizard with needle and thread.
When I arrived, she was putting finishing touches on glorious costumes…colorful tutus!
Performing two pieces of music in church today. Enjoying the architecture of this building.
Finally finding the fair trade market that I’ve read about for a long time. This is the first opportunity that I’ve been on this church site to explore the market. Had fun window-shopping and treating myself to a red heart with white daisies that fits nicely in the palm of my hand.
A cloudy day with sprinkles. Rain, rain please come soon.
Enjoying a favorite treat + cold cure, cactus soup mixed with black bean, topped with fresh tomatoes & onions. Couldn’t resist a new item on the appetizer menu, fries with bacon and cheese…
Breezing through the bedroom, hallway and garage, sans boxes feels marvelous. Continuting to reduce, refine.
TGIF! Loving the Friday before a 3-day weekend.
Enjoying fresh mandarins from my dear neighbor.
Baking the pork chops at a higher-than-usual heat to get them done quickly. Using a little of the Harvest Dill dip mix with sea salt and fresh ground pepper. Nice with bright green peas.
