I’m trying to use freecycle and useitagainPA.org for all my holiday shopping. Its amazing what you can create with a ingenuity (sp?).
Bottled water alternative- SIGG bottles put Nalgenes to shame. I couldn’t live without mine to stay hydrated during the holidays.
I keep all electronics unplugged or on a power strip.
Even better than my city’s care share program-plain old public transit!
Refuse to use plastic bags. Just carry your items or stash them in your pocket or current bag-if you forget an extra reuseable.
