I put on my 8s because the 10s felt “roomy”
They zipped and buttoned
But I’m still gloomy
Yeah, they fit, but not very fine
I’ve got a very visible panty line!
When I told my Mom I was reading all of Dickens she said “I have a set of his complete works. Aunt Florrie sent them to me. They had belonged to Uncle Otto’s old maiden aunt and her kids (Florrie’s) are not readers. They are in the front bedroom closet”. I was so happy to not have to get library books or buy any more paperbacks. But, (always a big but LOL), my Mom and I have misplaced part 2 of Little Dorrit. She thinks she gave it to me as we were going to my sister’s last May. I think I remember saying “I’ll leave it here for now because I won’t have time to finish all I am reading and this too.” So, I think it is still at Mom’s and she said she has looked everywhere. I’ll search my Mom’s next week and hope to end this literary mystery. It would be a shame to not find it. The books are about 100 yrs. old and a complete set!
