...that the Beatles never learned to read sheet music? They were all self-taught musicians and obviously very good at it.
I saw a beautiful acoustic a few months ago in a second hand store, but I didn’t have the money to purchase it. My husband has an electric guitar and an amp, I’m just intimidated by it and my uptight neighbors.
On the bright side, a guy DID just open up a guitar school behind my apartment, but it’s just for kids. As soon as my son is old enough I think he’ll go there (I like the owner, very personable guy and good with kids). Perhaps I can learn from my son as he’s learning? Make it a family thing :)

I bought a sewing machine a year and a half ago with the idea of making my own cosplay costumes and some regular clothing, but I just haven’t had the space to work on it.
My favorite thing to do, though, when considering a new sewing project is to browse the $1 bin of fabrics and see if there’s anything good and what comes to mind. Usually I can find something really awesome =)

I have a severe fear of performing by myself, let alone I shudder at the thought of even singing in front of people. My sister in law and some of our mutual friends have Rock Band and the opportunity’s come up for me to sing and each time I’ve declined.
This Thing is one more step I need to overcome in building my self confidence. Hopefully I’ll be able to soon =)
