My first day of college starts on Tuesday and I’m less than a pound and a half away from my mini goal weight of 135. I wanted to reach that by the time school started, but what difference is a pound and a half going to look like on my body? I decided I’m not going to punish myself if I don’t reach it at that time anyway. 136.4 is the lightest I’ve been in years! What a difference 5-6 months can make if you work really hard at it. :)

How I did it: It was my big surprise gift from my grandmother for Christmas. I was saving money for months to buy it, but college was more came first at the time so I delayed buying it for awhile. Yay for Christmas and grandmas! :) Read how I did it…
How I did it: I waited months to finish losing the rest of my extra weight. I went out shopping at my local mall and tried every store whose clothes I couldn't fit into before. I felt great buying clothes for my smaller frame and can't wait to buy more! :D Read how I did it…
I’m going to my uncle’s this weekend for a barbecue and to have a swim in his new pool along with some other family members. Well…I bought a bikini for the swim. I’ve NEVER worn a bikini before, or at least worn a two piece since I was 10 years old. It’s always been a one piece with a large shirt over top. I’m feeling self-conscious, yet confident at the same time. I’ve lost 40 pounds, have only 10 more to go, why not show it off? Gaaah! I wish these last 10 would just go away so I have no more flabby on the tummy lol!
I went on a tour of my new college last week, and on the tour I found out that they had a gym there! Since I’ll be becoming a student there, all I need is my student ID card and I can get in any type of exercise class I want for free or for much cheaper than what I’d have to pay at a gym (for a trainer and such…). I just need to find a workout buddy to come with me and I’ll be set. :D
